Chandigarh Police achieved a major success by arresting two accused person namely Vishvjeet Singh S/o Gurvinder Singh R/o H.No. 331,Sector 7 Panchkula age 34 years and his father Gurvinder Singh S/o Didar Singh R/o House no. 331 Sector-07 Panchkula age 65 years, who were involved in cheating, forgery and criminal conspiracy case of illegally occupying of H.No.135 Sector 35 A Chandigarh from a lady of Chinese origin, senior citizen, widow and living alone namely Jenny Lee W / o Late Sh . S.F. Lee .
As per the facts of the matter, a case FIR no. 170 dated 25.08.2022 u/s 420,467,468,120-B IPC PS-36,Chandigarh has been registered in Economic Offence Wing of Chandigarh Police,Sector-17,Chandigarh on the complaint of Jenny Lee W / o Late Sh . S.F. Lee R / o H.No. 153 Sector 35 – A , Chandigarh against Vishvajit Singh S/o Gurvinder Singh Bali R/o H. No. 2058/C, Block 19, Sec-63, Chandigarh, Gurvinder Singh Bali S/o Didar Singh R/o H. No. 2058/C, Block 19, Sec-63, Chandigarh, and others .(SUBHEAD)
During course of enquiry, it has come to light that in the year 2013 complainant gave top floor of her house on rent to alleged Gurvinder Singh Bali who did construction of her house in the year 2012 and made a rent agreement with him.
Thereafter, with the bad intention the accused Gurvinder Singh Bali bring his son namely Vishvajit Singh to the present address and made a new rent agreement between his son and complainant. Both the alleged persons were always keep delaying to pay the rent every month to the complainant and whenever the complainant asked them to pay the rent then the alleged persons make excuses to defer the payment as rent.
In the year Aug, 2017, complainant came to know about a back dated agreement to sell the 2nd floor of her H.No. 135 Sector 35 A Chandigarh in which her forged signatures were there which was made by alleged Vishvajit S/o Gurvinder Singh in which it is mentioned that the alleged Vishvajit Singh has paid Rs 28,00,000/- to the complainant as earnest money (biana) regarding sale of 2nd floor of H No. 153, Sec-35A Chandigarh.
The witnesses on that agreement were also not known to the complainant but known to the alleged persons. The complainant have never received any payment of Rs 28,00,000/- from the alleged persons. During further enquiry, it has also been established that stamp papers prepared during the preparation of fake agreement to sell, were also found fabricated.
Sensing the gravity of the matter a special investigation team has been immediately formed under the close supervision of SP/EOW and DSP/EOW comprising of ASI Mukesh Kumar and other officials and accused person namely Vishvjeet Singh s/o Gurvinder Singh R/o house no. 331,Sector 7 Panchkula age 34 years and Gurvinder Singh S/o Didar Singh R/o House no. 331 Sector-07 Panchkula age 65 years has been arrested in present case on 26.08.2022. Both the accused were produced before the Distt. Court where both were remanded to three days police custody for further investigation and interrogation.
KNOW THE ACCUSED: Vishvjeet Singh s/o Gurvinder Singh, H.No. 331, Sector 7 Panchkula age 34 years, is a married and a graduate. His father Gurvinder Singh S/o Didar Singh, H.No. 331,Sector 7 Panchkula age 65 years, married and middle pass and doing business of construction work.
