Police reported to have nabbed one accsued aged 19 vegetable vender along with two juveniles, involved in a case of vehciles theft.
The brief facts of the case are that on dated 22.08.2022, e-FIR NO.444 U/S 379 IPC has been registered on the complaint of Complainant Sh. Satwant Singh S/O Harbhajan Singh R/O # 704/1 Dehra Sahib MM Chandigarh, who reported that on Dt. 22.08.2022, between 11.15 PM to 11.06AM his vehicle bearing No. CH 01CB 7515 has been stolen by unknown persons and also many more thefts were reported and e-FIR were registered accordingly.
Sensing the gravity of the matter a Special investigation team was constituted under the supervision of SDPO/North East and Insp/SHO Jaspal Singh PS Mani Majra and laid a Naka in the area on secret information and accsued Dalip Verma S/O Kishore Verma R/O # 400 Shanti Nagar MM Chd Age 19 Yrs has been arrested on dated 24.08.2022.
During course of investigation accused Dalip Verma disclosed that he along with two juveniles have stolen Many M/Cycles from the jurisdiction of Mani Majra Chandigarh. They use to target the M/Cycles and use to open with Master keys which have been recovered and they hide the Motor cycle after the fuel in the tank exhausted.(SUBHEAD)
With the arrest of above mentioned accused following cases of thefts have been solved. One case FIR No. 293 dated 05.11.2017 U/S 380,457 IPC added 411 IPC also registered in this police station against Dalip Verma, who is illeterate and still unmarried.
