BSF CELEBERATES TEACHERS DAY AT PUNJAB FRONTIER HEADQUARTER

To mark the 75th Anniversary of Independence of India and to celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, BSF Punjab Frontier conducted an extensive School Outreach Programme on Friday as a run up to Teacher’s Day 2022 at Frontier HQrs, BSF, Jalandhar as well as in all Units / Sectors / Establishment under Punjab Frontier.

On this occasion Shri Asif Jalal, IPS, IG, BSF Punjab Frontier, visited at Police DAV Public School, PAP Campus, Jalandhar. In addition, team of BSF Officers, Subordinate Officers and Jawans also visited at various Schools and Colleges in border areas of Punjab. During the visit a short film / documentary on BSF was shown to students and they were encouraged and apprised of the BSF recruitment process, the benefits, pay scales and other facilities offered.

IG, BSF Punjab Frontier also highlighted the significance of Teachers Day and motivated the students on the values of patriotism, national security and encouraging their involvement in contributing to the overall development of the border areas.

The programme intends to enhance patriotic fervor, national integration and mainstreaming of the future generation to align as productive citizens.
