ISHAQUE, DALWINDER AND NEERAJ YASHPAUL IN SEMIS

Top seed Ishaque Eqbal and second seed Dalwinder Singh entered the semif-inals in the men’s singles of the Verka CLTA-AITA National Ranking Tennis Championship for Men’ at the Sector 10 Tennis Stadium here  on Wednesday

Ishaque Eqbal defeated Dhananjay Singh 6-2, 6-0. Ishaque Eqbal played high quality tennis and used variation and few drop shots in important points to beat Dhananjay. Ishaque also reached the doubles final with his partner Parth Aggarwal they upset top seed Sood Brothers in straight sets 6-4, 6-4.

In the another singles quarterfinals second seed Dalwinder Singh defeated Siddharth Arya KS of Tamilnadu 6-2, 7-5. Dalwinder won the first set 6-2 without getting much pressure. In the second set both players played top class tennis, finally Dalwinder used his big serve in crucial points at the right time to beat Siddharth Arya 7-5 in the second set and match.(SUBHEAD)

Suraj Prabodh upset third seed Sarthak Suden 6-3, 6-1 in straight sets. Neeraj Yashpaul will play against top seed Ishaque Eqbal in Men’s singles Semifinals tomorrow.
