During an operation conducted by Mohali Police against the bad elements and gangsters as per the guidelines issued by Punjab government, under the supervision of Sh. Amandeep Singh Brar, S.P. (Inv.), Sh Gursher Singh Dy.S.P (Inv.), I/C CIA Mohali Inspector Shiv Kumar along with his team arrested the gangster Manpreet Singh @ Bhima S/o Lal Chand R/o #940, MC Office Vishkarma Road PS Doraha District Ludhiana arrested along with 11 Pistols and a BMW Car, said SSP Sh. Vivek Sheel Soni
Accused Manpreet Singh @ Bhima is an old accomplice of Sunil Kumar @ Monu Gujjar, Jasmeet Singh @ Lucky both R/o district Hoshiarpur and Nikhil Kant Sharma R/o Distt. Patiala. All this weapons were supplied by Ashwani Kumar @ Sarpanch S/o Sham Lal R/o Village Khizrabad PS Pehowa, Haryana to accused Manpreet Singh @ Bhima, Jasmeet Singh @ Lucky and Nikhil Kant Sharma.
The accused Ashwani Kumar @ Sarpanch has already been arrested by CIA Mohali in case FIR No 115/22 PS Sadar Kharar. Accused Manpreet Singh @ Bhima has been arrested in case FIR No 260 dated 09.09.2022 u/s 25-54-59 Arms Act PS City Kharar
The accused identified as Manpreet Singh @ Bhima S/o Lal Chand R/o #940, MC Office Vishkarma Road PS Doraha District Ludhiana aged about 25 Years and was arrested from Christian School T- Point Kharar.
RECOVERY: One Pistol Glock 9mm, 10 Pistols .32 bore, 03 Alive Cartridges .32 Bore , One BMW Car bearing No HR26BT-155

Nikhil Kant Sharma S/o Sujeet Sharma R/o #2327/2 Mohalla Roop Chand PS Kotwali, Distt. Patiala.Ashwani Kumar @ Sarpanch S/o Sham Lal R/o Village Khizrabad PS Pehowa, Haryana Jasmeet Singh @ Lucky S/o Juminder Singh R/o Village Raipur, PS Bullowal, district Hoshiarpur (Arrest Pending)
BMW RECOVERED: BMW Car bearing No HR26BT-1558, which is in the name of Jasmeet Singh @ Lucky was used to supply drugs and Arms. It is expected that there will be more important revelations. The investigation of the case is going on.
