A joint team of police officials of AATS & PS Dwarka North, Dwarka District, under the overall supervision of Sh. Ram Avtar, ACP/Ops Dwarka, received a secret information regarding some members of Kundan who used to gather somewhere in Kakrola in the jurisdiction of PS Dwarka North.
During odd hours at night, they used to call people from all over Delhi for gambling. Some of them are very radical and desperate criminals. The topographical area of Kakrola and Bharat Vihar JJ Colony layout is complicated, narrow streets, same type of building etc., and it was too difficult to locate the syndicate which generally operates in wee hours.
On 12/09/22, a raid was conducted at two hideouts of Kundan, during raids a total of five gamblers/punters were apprehended by the team. They were found making bet on the book. Subsequently, they were arrested vide FIR No. 658/22 & 659/22 dated 12/09/22 U/s 12/9/55 DPG Act at PS Dwarka North.
The Book was headed by one desperate criminal Simrandeep Singh (Sole operator/handler of Kundan Gang outside Jail). The modus operandi is one member of the syndicate used to call/invite gamblers/punters individually to convey the time and space of the gambling. Gambler/punter from various parts of Delhi used to visit for gambling.
KNOW THE ACCUSED: Vinay R/o Rama Park, Mohan Garden, Delhi, Age 24 years., Vijay R/o Mohan Garden, New Delhi, Age 25 years., Arjun R/o Vivekanand Apartment, Sec-05 Dwraka, Delhi, Age 24 years. (Partner of Kundan) (He studied up to 12th standard and running a gambling book with Kundan. He is equal partner of Kundan), , Ankit R/o JJ colony, Bharat Vihar, New Delhi..Simrandeep R/o Hastsal Vihar, Uttam Nagar, Delhi, Age 22 years. (He studied up to 10th standard and previously involved in robbery case of PS Dwraka South vide FIR No. 05/20 U/s 392/397/413/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act)
RECOVERY: 5 mobile phones. Registers, paper slips and pens, playing card boxes used for gambling. • Stake money of Rs. 88570/- cash.
