HIGH COMMISSIONER OF INDIA WELCOMES BAPS DELEGATIONAT SINGAPORE

Periasamy Kumaran, High Commissioner of India in Singapore, warmly greeted Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami and personally ushered the delegation led by the Swami to the meeting hall for an enlightening discussion on Indian culture, values and harmony.

As 2022 is a celebration of India’s Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and also Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s Shatabdi Mahotsav, Kumaran was briefed about the year-long events undertaken by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha in various countries around the world and the grand festival which will be held at the end of the year in Ahmedabad. He was also informed about the BAPS humanitarian work conducted during the Ukraine crises.

Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami also invited the High Commissioner to the ‘Festival of Inspiration’ which will be held at Little India, Singapore, on 19 November 2022. This one-day cultural festival is dedicated to inspire individuals, families, and the community at large to build stronger relationships which will create peace and harmony in society.
