ORIENTATION PROGRAM ORGANISED FOR FRESHERS AT GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF YOGA EDUCATION

Government College of Yoga Education and Health organised an orientation programme for the students of B.Ed Yoga ,PGDYT and BCCYE today. The principal of the college Dr. Sapna Nanda welcomed Swami Anupma Anand of Ramakrishna Mission, the chief guest of the occasion as well as the students. In her welcome address she told about the importance of yoga in one’s regimen.

The program commenced with the Saraswati Vandana and lamp lightning ceremony. Chief Guest Swami Anupma Anand of Ramakrishna Mission, while addressing the students encouraged them to follow the path of yoga wholeheartedly and also follow the principles of Swami Vivekanand ji who represented the Indian heritage to the world.(SUBHEAD)

Students were made familiar with their campus, library, curriculum and other activities like yoga practicals, lab practicals, theory classes, Sports events, NSS and cultural activities by the concerned incharges.

Breathtaking Yoga demonstration was presented by the national player Abhay Mishra. Vote of thanks was delivered by Mr Rajiv Kumar, senior most faculty member of the college and the program was conducted by Ms. Sarghi Kohli.
