The All-Women Car Rally organised by the Army Wives Welfare Association arrived at Barmer. The rally consists of wives of officers and soldiers. Flagged off from Jodhpur on 29 September by Mrs Anita Nain, Regional President AWWA Southern Command, the rally halted at Jaisalmer on the first day. Later, it began its second leg from the Jaisalmer War Museum and went to the famous Rajkumari Ratnavati School interacting with young girls.

The rally was welcomed by civil and military dignitaries. On arrival, they interacted with the Veer Naris and widows of soldiers. The participants in the rally expressed their sincere gratitude to the Veer Naris for their sacrifice and felicitated them.

The team interacted with the young school girls and NCC Cadets and motivated them to join the Armed Forces. As a part of an outreach programme, the local army personnel organised a medical camp, documentation & pension assistance cell and other facilities. Apart from army officials, dignitaries from civil administration responsible for the welfare of ex-servicemen were also present. The rally will finish at Alwar on 3rd October.
