ARTISTS FROM DIFFERENT STATES SHOW SKILLS IN PAINTING

At the National Painting Competition and Workshop under the theme from Amrit Mahotsav to Golden India in Manmohinivan complex of Brahma Kumaris institution at Abu Road, well-known artists from different states engraved their feelings through paintings.

(MOREPIC1)(MOREPIC2)Artists shaped their work on four themes: Portrait of Dada Lekh Raj Kripalani (Brahma Baba), the founder of Brahma Kumaris, former chief administrators of the organisations Dadi Hridaymohini, Dadi Janaki, Dadi Prakashmani and current Chief Administrator Dadi Ratnamohani, Golden India, Cultural Heritage of India and Spiritual India.

In the morning sessions, the artists were taught Rajyoga meditation, so that they can further enhance their art. In this, tips for meditation techniques, time management, sleep management, stress management, power of yoga, mind management are being given.(SUBHEAD)

Artist Rahul Verma, who came from Kurukshetra in Haryana, said, “I have been participating in painting competitions at different places of the country for the last four years. Painting is my hobby. My profession is IT. I have been fond of painting since childhood”. Rahul made a painting of Dadi Hridaymohini (popularly called Dadi Gulzar).

Anjali Gavali, 64, a retired professor who came from Mumbai, said that painting has been a passion and passion since childhood. “That's why I taught painting in college as well. Gavali shaped the painting of the seven chakras of the soul and Brahma Baba, showing glimpses of the nectar festival of freedom, she added.

Art teacher Pratibha Maharana, who came from Chug in Jharkhand, said that she has her own art gallery. Recently, the government has honored her with the Best Art Teacher award. She has also received more than 90 national and international awards including Kala Ratna Award from UP Government.
