ADVISER TO THE ADMINISTRATOR REVIEWS THE PROGRESS REGARDING SETTING UP OF INDIAN AIR FORCE HERITAGE CENTRE

The Adviser to the Administrator, U.T. ,Chandigarh held a review meeting with Indian Air Force Officers and Chandigarh Administration Officers regarding setting up of Indian Air Force Heritage Centre which is a joint initiative between Indian Air Force and Chandigarh Administration.

At the outset, Sh. Vinod P Kavle, IAS, Secretary Culture Chandigarh Administration briefed about the duties and responsibilities of IAF and Chandigarh Administration in setting up of this Centre. Then the Officials of the Engineering Department, Chandigarh Administration briefed that the tender of the Civil and Electrical works to be carried out at the site has been opened on 7th October, 2022 and work will be allotted this week.

The Adviser to the Administrator directed the Officials present in the meeting to work in close coordination and get the works completed at the earliest so that the Centre can be inaugurated at the earliest.

Sh. Nitin Kumar Yadav, IAS, Home Secretary, Dr. Vijay N Zade, IAS, Secretary Engineering , Sh. Sorabh Kumar Arora, PCS, Director Cultural Affairs, Chandigarh Administration, Sh. Kapil Setia, Chief Architect, Chandigarh Administration, Officials of Engineering Department and Indian Air Force attended the meeting.
