GARRY THIND MAKES HAT TRICK IN CANADA

Garry Thind,son of former Congress councillor Amrik Singh Thind of Sunder Nagri, Abohar has won the Surrey School Board Trustee elections in Canada for third time in the row with 44,840 votes.

An Alumni of Amrit Model High School here, Garry had moved to Canada after completing his Engineering from Bangalore University, in 1999. While the information of his achievement was widely greeted with a sense of immense pleasure and pride in the home town, Garry said he was thankful to all the well-wishers besides family members for their love and support.

Garry had also served as President for the Rotary Club of Surrey and was currently serving as a head of the BC region for Pingalwara Society of Ontario, where he raised over 4.8 million dollars since 2002.
