Raisin Saini last night won the title at Miss Bharat New York. The pageant was organized by MyDream TV channel USA. The national level competition will be organised in Atlanta in December. The channel is owned by Rashmi Bedi.
Raisin, grand-daughter of Abohar based Vijay Laxmi, a retired govt teacher and Tilak Raj Sachdeva, is a fashion model, dancer and actress. Last month she won the Top Model 2022 competition held in Boston, USA and was awarded by Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu.
She is also making a music cover video with T series and it is being choreographed by a known Bollywood choreographer Amrita Maitra.(SUBHEAD)
Saini said today, “I also have a mission to give back to society. Being a dental surgeon, I want to spread awareness about Oral cancer especially in rural areas of Punjab. I want to work with a non-profit organization “Ek Noor” located in Ludhiana to spread oral hygiene awareness.
She said, I want to spread awareness about prohibiting the use of smokeless tobacco (gutka and paan masala) among Indians because of the risk of oral cancer. I want to open a dental clinic too where patients can be screened for oral cancer for free and have other dental needs taken care of”.
