In a major breakthrough Po & Summon staff of Chandigarh Police under over all supervision of W/SSP/UT, Chandigarh and under the direction of DSP/DCCand team headed by Insp. Sumer Singh Incharge PO & Summon staff is able to arrest the 03 Proclaimed Offender Arrest of Accused/Proclaimed Offender: -By collecting information from different sources (technical & human) and a day/night search was conducted. Later on, by all the sincere efforts, on the information of secret informer, three accused has been arrested in different cases by the team of PO & summon staff. The PO & Summon staff Chandigarh has arrested total 03 Proclaimed Offenders (01 accused in murder case convicted person & 02 accused in U/S 138 NI Act).
The accused Bahadur Singh S/o Sh. Bachan Singh R/o House no. 14, Staff Quarters GH-16 Chandigarh Now Present address House no. 229 Gurunanak Enclave Badmajra Kharar Mohali (PB) age- 46 years arrested in case FIR no 66 dated 11.05.1998, U/S 302,323,452,109 IPC Police Station Sec-11 Chandigarh from Mohali on 16.10.2022. Accused Bahadur singh is working as an Advocate in District Court Complex Mohali and the case registered on the complaint of Miss. Bharti D/o Sh. Ajay Kumar R/o House no. 1324-B, Sector 15 B Chandigarh. In which she stated that I lived with my parents above noted address and I appear in the examination of B.A. Ist as private candidate. Prior to this we resided in House no. 13 GH Sector-16 Chandigarh in front of my house. I fell in love with Bahadur Singh. By taking wrong advantage of my love he had made illicit relation with me and made me a mother of child.Bahadur Singh started beating Ajay Kumar and gave a kick blow on his chest.
Thereafter, Ms. Bharti went to her House and accused Bahadur Singh pouredkerosone oil on the body of Ms. Bharti sustained burn injuries. Ms. Bharti was taken to General hospital sector-16 Chandigarh for treatment and the statement of lady Bharti was recorded by Magistrate Chandigarh.
The accused Bahadur Singh S/o Sh. Bachan Singh was convicted in caseFIR No. 66 dated 11.05.1998, U/S-302,323,452,109 IPC Police Station Sec-11 Chandigarh by the Hon’ble Court of Sh. Balbir Singh, ADJ, Chandigarh and “sentence to undergo rigorous imprisonment for life and to pay the fine of Rs. 10000/- for the offence punishable under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code and in default of payment of fine to further undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of one year”. The appeal of accused Bahadur Singh was dismissed by the Hon’ble PB & HR High court on dated 09.12.2019.
On dated 02.09.2022 Re-Arrest warrant of accused namely Bahadur Singh S/o Sh. Bachan Singh R/o House no. 16 staff Quarters GH-16 Chandigarh was issued by the Hon’ble court for 30.11.2022.
One lady accused has been arrested in Complaint no. 2022008418 U/S 138 Negotiable Act from Sec-22 Chandigarh. The accused was produced in the Hon’ble court of Sh. Tarun Kumar JMIC Chandigarh and release on bail.
The accused Dinesh Kumar S/o Sh. Madan Lal R/o House no. 587 sector-29 A Chandigarh & Present Address House no. 537 Amrawati Enclave Panchkula (HR) has been arrested in Complaint no. 2022010345 U/S 138 Negotiable Act from Panchkula (HR). The accused was produced in the Hon’ble court of Ms. Pratima Singla JMIC Chandigarh & release on bail.
