Artists created a lot of color in the Diwali function organized at the Rajyoga Bhawan of Brahma Kumaris organization here. The program was started by Rajyoga teacher Sunita Behan by highlighting the history and importance of Diwali. Center in-charge Pushplata Behan performed pujan of Aashna and Dr. Shweta Khurana who posed as Goddess Laxmi and Goddess Saraswati.

Pihu started the cultural program with the “Shubh din aayo rey” dance song. Mehak enthralled the audience with her presentation of “Har saal Diwali aati hai”, dances were also presented by Yashika, Bhavya, Drishti and Amani. Punjabi and Gujarati dance songs related to Diwali to enliven the program. Mayor Vimal Thatai, while presenting mementos to all the artists, called upon the residents of the city to give full cooperation in the cleanliness survey.
