With the arrest of 04 accused persons, Police Station-Mauli Jagran has solved FIR No. 134 dated 25.10.2022, Under Section 324, 307, 302, 34 IPC, Police Station-Mauli Jagran, UT, Chandigarh, registered in the murder of Kuldeepak @ Depi.
On the night intervening 24/25.10.2022, a case of ‘Murder’ was registered at Police Station-Mauli Jagran on the complaint of Abhishek Sharma Age-21 years S/O Jaideep sharma R/O Village Mundari, PS/Distt Kaithal, Haryana. Wherein he reported that on 24.10.2022 at around 11:30 PM he and his brother Kuldeepak sharma had come to meet their Aunt Smt. Murti Devi, at H. No. 427 Village-Mauli, Chandigarh.
After meeting their Aunt they went to Park at Village Mauli. There they met their friends Deepu and Shahbaz. Then his brother Kuldeepak @ Depi went to the other side of the park. Thereafter, he noticed that his brother Kuldeepak got into fight with some boys. The complainant and his friend shahbaj also rushed to help his brother. Then two of the attackers namely Arjun Thakur @ Shiva @ Munna and Chhola caught the complainant and was hit with brick on the head from behind. The two unknown boys among the attackers stabbed his brother Kuldeepak with a knife and assaulted him brutally with iron rod.
After this, these boys also injured the complainant's friend Shabaz by stabbing him in the back. They all got severely injured and one of their friends Deepu took him to civil hospital Sector 6 Panchkula Haryana for treatment where the duty doctor declared Kuldeepak Sharma (brother of complainant) as brought dead.(SUBHEAD)
The investigation of the case was taken up in the right earnest under the direction of senior officers and a team compromising Insp. Jaiveer Singh Rana, SHO/PS-MJ, SI Baljit Singh, ASI Azad Singh, ASI Kadam Singh and other police officials from PS-Mauli Jagran have been constituted. The Police team deployed sources in the area and extensively examined the witnesses and locals.
With the tactful and sincere efforts the Police team located the accused persons, who were on the run after committing the crime. The police team have successfully arrested all the accused involved in the crime within 24 hours of reporting of crime. On 25.10.2022, the Police team laid separate trap and the accused person, viz., (1) Roop Basant @ Bhola aged 21 years, S/o Mahipal, R/o H.No. 150, Vill-Mauli, Chandigarh, (2) Ampik @ Gulli aged 19 years, S/o Bhure Singh, R/o # 89, vill-Mauli , Chandigarh, (3) Ghanish @ Dhanish aged 22 years, S/o Shankar Shah, R/o # 335, Vill-Mauli, Chandigarh, (4) Arjun Thakur @ Shiva @ Munna aged 23 years, S/o # Narender Kumar, R/o # 2, Vill-Mauli, Chandigarh, Permanent Resident of Vill-Murkiya, PS-Kheria, Distt. Agra, Uttar Pradesh have been arrested.
All the accused persons have been identified by the complainant. Further, on the instance of accused persons, the local police have recovered all the weapons allegedly used in the crime and blood stained clothes of the accused which have been allegedly worn by the accused while commissioning of crime.
As per records, the accused Ampik @ Gulli is involved in case FIR No. 85, dated 04.07.2022, U/S 341,323,506,34 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act, PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Further, accused Arjun @ Munna was involved in case FIR No. 163, dated 31.05.2021, U/S 188, 269, 270 IPC and 61-1-14 Excise Act, Police Station-Sector 14, Panchkula, Haryana.
