Miss World America and Miss World 1st Runner-Up Shree Saini had heart surgery yesterday for a new pacemaker implant. It was done at the Virginia Mason Heart institute in Seattle.
(MOREPIC1) Saini said, “My heart surgery went well, I now have a brand-new pacemaker in my heart, my body is getting used to a whole brand-new device inside my body. I can feel the pacemaker in my chest and moving with me, I am recovering and healing.
She thanked cardiac surgeons, nurses and medical staff for taking good care of her and said, “I am infinitely grateful for everyone’s encouraging words through social media, calls, and texts. It is extremely important to share what we go through and our real-life hardships. It helps give the gifts of courage, community, reliance on each other, fellowship and bravery.
These characteristics are the greatest forms of charity and help us all rise up from our challenges with support from each other. I hope to give you a sense of assurance: that you aren’t alone. I encourage you to keep picking yourself up from hardships, with an optimistic and solution- based mindset. Now that I am all charged up, we have more work to do, she added.(SUBHEAD)
