(MOREPIC4) (MOREPIC5)(MOREPIC6)Border Security Force (BSF) troops on Thursday at about 1900 hrs deployed at Border Out Post (BOP) Jagdish, Ex-136 Bn, Sector Ferozepur (Distt – Ferozepur), recovered a bag during search near the zero line
The bag containing the following arms & ammunition:, BSF troops of i) AK 47 rifles – 03 Nos with 06 empty magazines ii) Mini-AK 47 rifles – 03 Nos with 05 empty magazines iii) Pistols (Beretta type) – 03 Nos with 06 empty magazines. iv) Ammunition – 200 rounds (100 rounds of the rifle, and 100 rounds of the pistol) Punjab Police has been informed for further action.
BSF spokesman said, vigilant BSF troops, once again foiled the nefarious attempts of anti-national elements to smuggle contraband and committed to fight against weapon.
