A case FIR No. 139, U/S 11(1 ) Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act & 428, 277 IPC has been registered in Police station-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Dalip Anand R/o H.No. 24, Sector 28A, Chandigarh who alleged that Puneet Singh R/o H.No. 3033, Sector 27D, Chandigarh killed stray dog (puppy) by putting it in a water tank near Janta Market, Sector 27D, Chandigarh.
Alleged person was arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
