GOOD GESTURE: BSF HANDS OVER TWO PAK NATIONALS TO PAK RANGERS IN AMRITSAR SECTOR

BSF troops apprehended 02 Pakistan nationals ahead of border fence, while they crossed the International Border and entered into Indian territory, in the area falling near village – Rajatal under Amritsar district.

During questioning, it came to notice that the both the apprehended Pak nationals had crossed over to Indian territory inadvertently. Nothing objectionable except personal belongings, Identity cards and Pak Currency amounting to Rs. 9790/- were recovered from them.

Bsf spokesman from Jalandhar BSF HQ approached Pakistan Rangers and lodged protest on the matter. Thereafter, on sundsy at about 1920 hrs, both the apprehended Pakistan nationals, being an inadvertent border crosser, were handed-over to Pakistan Rangers on humanitarian grounds.4.
