TWO DAYS WELFARE CAMP ORGANISED IN ST. JOHN'S

St. John's High School in collaboration with the Labour Department Chandigarh Administration, Chartered Association for Solidarity (CAFS) and Swarmani Youth Welfare Association, organized a camp from 2 November to 3 November, 2022 in the school premises.

For the benefit of the EWS (Economical Weaker Section) students, the event focused on spreading awareness and document completion of numerous policies like Annual Income Certificates, Widow's Pension, Old-age Pension, Disability Pension and Aadhar Card.

Bank accounts were initiated under the Canara Saral Saving Account with zero balance scheme. In hand documents like Labour Card, E-shram Card and Aayushman Card were facilitated; along with registration for Mandhan Pension Yojna.

The Principal, Mrs. Kavita Das expressed her deep appreciation of all the organizations that had come together to help the less fortunate and to assist them to lead better, safer lives.
