CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF GENERAL MANOJ PANDE VISITS HQ SOUTH WEST COMMAND

General Manoj Pande, Chief of the Army Staff visited the Headquarters at Jaipur based South Western Command. Lieutenant General AS Bhinder, General Officer Commanding in Chief, South Western Command briefed the Army Chief on operational readiness, logistics, training aspects and assistance provided to civil administration during the recent natural calamities.

(SUBHEAD)The Army Chief addressed all ranks of the Command and emphasised on the need for maintaining the highest state of operational preparedness. He also reiterated that our troops are being empowered with the best available modern technologies, which would enable them to fight the future battles.

The COAS expressed his satisfaction on the dedication and perseverance of all ranks towards the operational readiness and administrative efficiency and lauded their efforts on being prepared for contemporary and future challenges. The demonstrated performance of the Command during flood relief operations in aid to civil administration in the recent past wherein many precious lives were saved was appreciated by the Army Chief.
