Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today took dig at the Aam Aadmi Party government’s ban on public display of weapons including songs as some people went with open display of guns in Moga on Friday.
Referring to a route march by some weapon-wielding people in Moga openly, Warring said, “these people have cocked a snook at the government by defying the ban within five days of its issuing”.
(MOREPIC1)(SUBHEAD)The PCC president questioned the AAP government’s credibility saying it has lost all its authority as was evident the way its ban was treated. “Does the will of Punjab government run anywhere in the state”, Warring asked in a tweet, while adding, “people are defiantly and audaciously cocking a snook at this government and it appears to be completely helpless”.
Warring said, with law and order situation deteriorating so badly in state, the AAP leadership was still preoccupied with Gujarat elections. He cautioned against taking the situation so casually lest it will be too late and beyond redemption.
