CHANDIGARH ADMINISTRATION INITIATES STEPS TO BRING TRANSPARENCY, FAIRNESS AND SPEEDY DISPOSAL OF OFFICE PROCESS

In order to bring transparency, fairness and speedy disposal in the office process, Sh Dharam Pal, Adviser to the Administrator-cum-Chief Vigilance Officer, U.T., Chandigarh issued orders  directing all the Departments/Boards/Corporations/Undertakings of the Chandigarh Administration to immediately switch over to movements of all the physical (Intra Department and Inter Departments) through e-office module of NIC and the manual file movement register should be discontinued.

Further, the Adviser to the Administrator has instructed all the Secretaries of Chandigarh Administrator that from 21.11.2022 onwards all physical files will be accepted in his office through e-office module only.(SUBHEAD)

Therefore, to comply the orders of Advisor to the Administrator, a special training session for the personal staff of all the officers was held today in U.T., Secretariat, where the officers of NIC U.T., Chandigarh imparted training to these officials for e-office module for entry of physical files in the system. Another round of training of e-office module will be given to all concerned officials on 25.11.2022 for the said purpose. From 01.12.2022, the Chandigarh Administration will fully switch over to movement of physical file through e-office module only.
