Following the directions of senior officers regarding zero tolerance on the Narcotics in the city, Operations Cell of Chandigarh Police arrested one of the gang members of Lawrence Bishnoi and Sampat Nehra Gang,who was associated with the gang and few cases were registered against him. He was apprehended by the team of Operations Cell Sector 26 Chandigarh.
The accused identified as Amandeep Joshi @ Rajbir Joshi S/o Jagbir Joshi R/o House Near Monteseri School Village Balongi Distt. SAS Nagar (Mohali) Punjab Age 31 years.

On Monday Police during Nakabandi near Togan Turn apprehended the accused and during his search 123 Grams of heroin was recovered from his possession and while on his interrogation it has been revealed that he is still in touch with his gang members who are in different jails.
Even when Ravinder Singh @ Kali was brought on production warrant in Kharar he provided clothing for him. He is working as a runner for Lawrence Bishnoi Gang and when ever asked by the gang members he provides clothing and other eatable material to who so ever is in police custody.
Amandeep Joshi, has tainted past, he was previously involved in total 3 Cases, out of which 1st Case in the year 2013, is of PS Balongi, SAS Nagar Mohali, Punjab, 2nd case in the year of 2014, is of PS Chandi Mandir Panchkula Haryana, 3rd case in the year of 2015 of PS Balongi, SAS Nagar Mohali, Punjab and he is also PO in one case from the Court of Kharar Mohali Punjab. Now he has been arrested for carrying 123 Grams Heroin in Chandigarh.
The accused studed upto 10+2 and working catering. He was produced in the court of Sh. Mayank Marwaha JMIC, UT, where the accused was sent to Police custody for one day.
