In a major breakthrough PO & Summon staff of Chandigarh Police under the directions of SSP/UT Chandigarh Sh. Kuldeep Singh Chahal IPS and in the supervision of DSP/DCC and team headed by Insp. Hari Om Sharma Incharge PO & Summon staff is able to arrest the 02 absconding persons.
Arrest of Accused/Proclaimed Offender: With the help of collection of information from different sources (technical & human) and a day/night search. The following mentioned absconding persons have been arrested with secret information of informer and all the sincere efforts made by ASI Lakhwinder Singh 3376/CP, HC Ashok Kumar 1179/CP, HC Surjan Singh 1201/CP, Sr. C. Hardeep Singh 2506/CP and C. Partap Singh 5213/CP.
The FIR No. 197 dated 12.07.2016, U/s 379, 411 IPC PS-39 Chandigarh was registered against accused namely Shankar Thapa S/o Sh. Hem Lal Thapa R/o # 250 Ekta Colony, Balongi, District Mohali, Punjab on the complaint of Sandeep Singh R/o Sector-56, Chandigarh. He stated that on night intervening 06/07.07.2016 he parked his M/Cycle infront of his house. In the morning at about 6.00 AM, he found his M/Cycle missing. Later the case was registered against accused. He was declared PO by the Hon’ble court of Ms. Gitnajali Goyal, JMIC, Chandigarh vide order dated 09.06.2022. The accused has been sent to judicial custody.
The FIR No. 116 dated 11.04.2008, U/s 379, 411 IPC, PS-36, Chandigarh was registered against accused namely Pushpinder Singh S/o Tarlok Singh R/o # 4646, Hosptial Road, Jandiala Guru, Amritsar on the complaint of Arun Verma R/o # 1713/2, Sector-43, Chandigarh. He stated that one 11.04.2008, his Maruti Zen car, parked infront of his house, was missing when he noticed in the morning. Later the case was registered against accused and he was declared PO by the Hon’ble Court of Sh. Pardeep Kumar, JMIC, Chandigarh vide order dated 04.06.2014. The accused has been sent to judicial custody.
