Police achieved a major success when the Police Staff of Police Station Sector-39, Sub-Division South West arrested three accused persons i.e. Ravi @ Chullu S/o Sh Kalla Ram R/o Room No. 252, Royal lodged PG near Shiv Mandir, Sai Majra, Mohali, (PB) Age 19 years, Sawan @ Juddi S/o Sh. Suresh Pal R/o Kachchi Jhuggi, backside Gurudwara Madanpur, Mohali (PB) Age 22 years, Bobby S/o Late Brahmpal R/o # 43, near Gurudwara, Village Lakhnaur, Mohali (PB) Age 18 years and one Juvenile apprehended and worked out a case of snatching by recovering snatched mobile phone make Oppo, knife & M/Cycle make splendor used in the crime in case FIR No. 189 dated 25.11.2022 U/S 379-B, 34 IPC added 411 IPC PS 39, Chandigarh. It was reported that on 24.11.2022 at about 08.37 PM, an information was received through control room that quarrel took place near petrol pump Sector 56, Chandigarh. On this information I/C PP Palsora along with E/O duty & other officials of PP Palsora visited the spot, slip road, near Petrol Pump Sector 56, Chandigarh & found that injured person rushed to GMSH Sector 16, Chandigarh by the PCR vehicle, in the meantime information received from GMSH Sector 16, Chandigarh that one person namely Aakash Singh S/o Rajinder Singh R/o # 6768/B, Sector 56, Chandigarh Age 20 years admitted in GMSH Sector 16, Chandigarh due to quarrel and was unfit for making
statement.
On 25.11.2022, an FIR was registered on the statement of Aakash Singh S/o Rajinder Singh R/o # 6768/B, Sector 56, Chandigarh wherein he stated that at about 08:20 PM, when he was walking at slip road near petrol pump Sector 56, Chandigarh, in the meantime two young boys out of four, were already standing at slip road, near motorcycle and two other boys came from the forest area and all together snatched his mobile phone make Oppo. During snatching two boys hold his arms and one Ravi snatched his mobile phone from his pocket and remaining one boy i.e. Sawan @ Juddi blow knife on his left thigh and head, due to this he sustained injuries. Thereafter, the accused person fled away from the spot.
On the Directions of W/SSP, Chandigarh and under the supervision of Sh. Mridul, IPS, SDPO/South West, a team was constituted comprising of Inspector/SHO Eram Rizvi, SI Daljeet Singh 1061/CHG I/C PP Palsora, ASI Raj Kumar 3487/ CP, C Sunil Kumar Yadav 4999/CP, C Vidyanand 6248/CP, C Narinder Kumar 4142/CP, C Chander Mohan 6429/CP and Vol Aastik Rana 593HGV.
During the course of investigation, on Saturday accused persons involved in snatching namely Ravi @ Chullu S/o Sh Kalla Ram R/o Room No. 252, Royal lodged PG near Shiv Mandir, Sai Majra, Mohali, (PB) Age 19 years, Sawan @ Juddi S/o Sh. Suresh Pal R/o Kachchi Jhuggi, backside Gurudwara Madanpur, Mohali (PB) Age 22 years, Bobby S/o Late Brahmpal R/o # 43, near Gurudwara, Village Lakhnaur, Mohali (PB) Age 18 years have been arrested and one Juvenile has also been apprehended.
Accused Ravi @ Chullu, Sawan @ Juddi and Bobby are locked up in PS lockup and Juvenile admitted in observation Home after getting permission of PMJJB.
