SPARSH TEAM FELICITATES “MISS PUNJABAN MALWA” SEERAT

The Sparsh Theater Society on Tuesday felicitated Seerat Sablok who has won the title of “Miss Punjaban Malwa” at a grand function organized recently in Maharaja Ranjit Singh Technical University. This was the third edition of the annual competition, coordinator Neelam Sharma said.

Sparsh Director Prof Gaurav Vij, president Sonu Babbar, organising secretary Sahil Wadhwa, executive members Anshuman Gandhi, Aarzoo, Shalu, Dipasha and Seerat's father Manminder Singh, ex-councilor were present.(SUBHEAD)

The first regional stage audition of the participantsfor the competition was heldlast month at Gopichand Arya Mahila College here. Sangeet Natak Akademi’s Best Actor Award recipient and celebrity directorProf Gaurav Vij said today that as a member of Sparsh team, Seerat has proved her talent in dozens of plays staged in Punjab, Rajasthan and Haryana. Seerat played various roles in 20 plays staged by Sparsh at Punjab Naatshala Amritsar.

Seerat said that her father Manminder Singh gave her a lot of affection and support to move forward in the field of art and culture. For bringing her on stage and valuable guidance, she was grateful to Prof Vij and his associates. She was feeling lucky in joining the campaign to enrich Punjabi culture. If given a chance in the future, she would love to participate in TV shows as well.
