DC SENU DUGGAL ATTENDS THE RETREAT CEREMONY AT SADAQI BORDER

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal enjoyed the parade by specially participating in the retreat ceremony at the international Indo-Pak Sadaqi Border. The retreat ceremony is conducted only in three districts of Punjab, including Fazilka. On the occasion, she interacted with the BSF authorities.

Earlier, the DC paid homage to the martyrs while paying obeisance at the War Memorial in Asafwala village. She said that the sacrifices made by the martyrs can never be forgotten. We roam freely in a safe environment because of the deployment of the great warriors on the borders.(SUBHEAD)

She considered herself fortunate that her posting in the border district provided her the opportunity to pay obeisance at the Asafwala memorial and witness the retreat ceremony. “Sincere efforts will be made to highlight such memorials of the district in the entire state, she added.

SDM Ravinder Singh Arora, members of the Shaheedon ki Samadh Committee and other officials were present.
