Border Security Force (BSF) troops deployed at border heard buzzing sound of suspected flying object / drone entering from Pakistan into Indian territory in the area falling near Village – Roranwala Kalan, in District – Amritsar on Sunday.
(MOREPIC1)As per drill, the troops tried to intercept the suspected flying object by firing. The whole area was cordoned and Police & concerned sister agencies were informed.
Further, on 05th Dec' 2022 during search BSF troops recovered a Quadcopter – DJI matrice 300 RTK M-300 (Made in China) in broken condition alongwith 01 Big packet of contraband lying in the farming field near Vill – Roranwala Kalan, Distt – Amritsar.
BSF spokesman in Jalandhar Punjab Frontier BSF HQ said, on opening this packet, 02 packets of heroin – appx 2.1 Kg and a small packet containing opium – appx 100 Gms, was recovered.
