Police South West Sub Division on the direction of Sh. Kuldeep Singh Chahal, I.P.S, W/SSP UT Chandigarh, collaboration with Social Welfare Department Chandigarh Administration organized a volleyball tournament under the compain “Nasha Mukt Bharat, Say No to Drugs, Yes to life” as to curtail the menace of drug, in order to channelize the youth in the right direction.

In this regard, a volleyball tournament was arranged at ground of Maloya, Chandigarh. Ms. Shruti Arora, I.P.S, W/SP City, UT Chandigarh marked her presence as the chief guest of the event with Sh. Mridul, I.P.S, ASP/South West, Smt. Prabhjot Kaur, Nodel Officer of Nasha Mukt Bharat, Social Welfare Department, UT Chandigarh.

SHO Police Station 39, SHO Police Station Maloya, SHO Police Station 36, I/C PP Palsora along with Councilors and respectable persons of the areas were also present. Total 18 teams participated in the event and Maloya Club bagged the first prize and they were awarded 11000/- cash along with trophy & medals, Chess Cracker bagged the Second prize and they were awarded 7100/- cash along with trophy & medals and Palsora bagged the third prize and they were awarded 5100/- cash along with trophy & medals.
