WRITTEN EXAM OF FOR RECRUITMENT OF 49 ASI OF CHANDIGARH POLICE HELD

The written examination for the recruitment of 49 posts of ASI(Executive) of Chandigarh Police was held on Sunday across 36 centres in the city.

Detailed law and order & security arrangements were made whereby proper frisking, searching and biometric capturing of fingerprint of candidates was ensured. Further, CCTV cameras and Jammers were installed at each centre and special nakas were laid around centres to prevent use of any illegal means during the conduct of examination. 2 paramilitary coys and PCRs were tasked for patrolling outside each centres. Flying Squads were constituted to conduct surprise check at centres.

More than 1000 police officials were deployed on the duty today which included 17 DSPs and 51 Inspectors and other rank officials. The entire examination was closely supervised by all the senior rank officers which went off peacefully without any untoward incident being reported. Nearly 51% of the applied candidates appeared in the written examination.
