The recipient, Dr. Gangadhar, is known for promoting values-based journalism across the country, he had participated in the Yuva Yatras and other campaigns also that were organised by Brahmakumaris Sanstha to motivate youth to stay away from drug addiction and other social evils.
The Asia Pacific Education Summit was recently organized in Bangkok. In this program, 50 people from all over the world, who have done pioneering work by undertaking innovative initiatives in various fields, were honored with the Asia Pacific Iconic Award.
Well-known film actress Amisha Patel was the Chief Guest of the function. She handed over mementos and citations to these talents for their excellent performance in various fields.
On the occasion, BK Dr. Dipak Harke, who has been awarded many 200 times in different countries, was honored for spreading and promoting the ancient Raj Yoga of India. Last year, BK Dr. Dipak Harke, 1st Indian to achieve 174 world records, was honoured with Bharat Gaurav Samaan in Zurich, Switzerland.
