PRAYAS SCHOOL CHILDREN’S VISITED SADAQI CHOWKI ON INDO PAK BORDER IN FAZILKA SECTOR

DC Dr. Senu Duggal today spent some time celebrating the coming New Year with students of Prayas School (School for Deaf and Dumb) run by the District Red Cross Society.

She took these children to the retreat ceremony at Sadaqi Chowki on the International Border. Some students of local government schools and NCC cadets from Government Sr. Sec. School Dharampura also joined her during the celebrations.(SUBHEAD)

The DC said that Prayas School is providing education to deaf and dumb children with special needs and it is run by the District Red Cross Society. A special arrangement for these special children was made to facilitate their participation in the retreat ceremony.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mandeep Kaur said that this day has become special for these children. Apart from this, some children also participated in this trip through Pandit Kashi Ram Memorial Welfare Society. ADC (Dev) Sandeep Kumar, Assistant Commissioner General Manjit Singh Aulakh, Pradeep Gakhar and Liladhar Sharma were also present.
