WHY DID PUNJAB CHIEF MINISTER BHAGWANT NOT APPOINT PUNJAB BASED BUREAUCRATS TO THE POSTS OF RERA PUNJAB?

Strongly condemning the appointment of retired Delhi bureaucrats as chairman and members of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority of Punjab (RERA), senior Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Pratap Singh Bajwa on Friday said that he found the Aam Admi Party chief behind these appointments. There is doubt on the intentions of so called 'Aam Admi'.
Bajwa said that former Additional Chief Secretary of Delhi Satya Gopal, who has been appointed as the Chairman of Punjab RERA, and retired IRS officer Rakesh Goyal, who has been appointed as the Member of Punjab RERA, both are close confident of Delhi Chief Minister and AAP National Convenor. The opposition leader said in a statement that real estate is considered one of the most profitable businesses in the state.(SUBHEAD)
“I have a serious doubt that the senior leadership of AAP sitting in Delhi is eyeing 'profitable businesses' in Punjab so that they can collect party funds, which may be needed for expansion of the party in other states. Two big businessmen from Punjab were sent to the Rajya Sabha, said Bajwa.
Qadian MLA Bajwa said that this example shows that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is nothing more than a puppet, who dances at the behest of his masters sitting in Delhi. Why didn't the Chief Minister of Punjab intervene and appoint bureaucrats from Punjab to these posts? Around 75 senior IAS and IPS officers applied for this and the interview was just a hoax.
Bajwa said that Raghav Chadha and Sandeep Pathak, who had zero contribution to Punjab, were AAP's Rajya Sabha members from Punjab.
Bajwa said, “People of Punjab also remember that Bhagwant Maan was not the first choice of AAP's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal for the post of Chief Minister of Punjab. He chose Maan at the last moment when there was no other alternative.” added Bajwa.
