R. D. DHIMAN SWORN IN AS CHIEF INFORMATION COMMISSIONER

Former chief secretary of the state R.K. D. Dhiman took oath as the Chief Information Commissioner of the State in the presence of Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar in a simple and dignified ceremony held at Raj Bhavan here  on Sunday.

Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu was also present on the occasion. Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena conducted the proceedings of the function.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Human Rights Commission Chairman P.S. Rana, Himachal Pradesh Lokayukta Chairman C.B. Barowalia, MLAs, Chairman and Vice-Chairman of various commissions, senior officers of the State Government and family members of Dhiman were also present.
