The team of Police Station -19, Chandigarh under the leadership of Ms. Palak Goel DSP/East UT, Chandigarh and supervision of Insp. Mini Bhardwaj, SHO PS-19, Chandigarh achieved a major success by arresting two Burglars namely Jatin Narula S/o Vikram Narula R/o H.No. 72, Sector 20 A, Chandigarh, age 22 years and Sameer S/o Jhahir Ahmed R/o H.No. 1071 Sector 21 B Chandigarh age 23 years.
The stolen property i.e. Diamond/Golden ornaments around 45 Tolas & Cash 3.80 Lacs have been recovered from them. The total jewellery items are as following :- 6 golden chain/necklace, 7 Golden bangles, 5 Golden finger rings, 6 pair golden earrings, 1 single earring and Cash Rs 3.80 Lacs.
(SUBHEAD)On first day of the year complainant Ashok Goyal S/o Sh. Deep Chand R/o H. No. 1057 Sector 21 B, Chandigarh reported that he is professionally a Chartered Accountant and his wife is working in FCI. On Saturday at about 7.00 PM, he alongwith his wife & two sons went to Sector 22 Chandigarh to celebrate New Year with his relatives. On 01.01.2023 at about 1.30 AM when they reached at his home he saw that jewelry/Gold around 30 Tolas & some Cash approximately 4-5 Lacs was stolen by someone. Accordingly a case FIR No. 01 dated 01.01.2023 U/s 380,457 IPC has been registered at PS-19, Chandigarh.
During the course of investigation, the team quickly responded and nabbed the culprits within six hours by doing active patrolling and putting Naka in the area. The Car bearing no. HR26BE6533 make Accord white colour which was used to commit the crime has also been taken into police possession and the above said accused persons involved in the said crime namely Jatin Narula S/o Vikram Narula and Sameer S/o Jhahir Ahmed have been arrested and are being produced before the Court.
