Border Security Force (BSF) troops on Tuesday morning shot dead one Pakistani armed miscreant on Indo Pak Border in Amritsar sector.
(MOREPIC1)Alert Border Security Force troops observed suspicious movement of a Pakistani armed miscreant ahead of Border fencing, in the area falling near bordering Village – Dariya Mansoor under District – Amritsar.
Troops challenged the miscreant, but he did not stop and continued moving ahead.
Sensing imminent threat and to stop further misadventure, BSF troops fired upon the miscreant in self-defence, killing him on the spot.
On search a Gun and 06 live rounds found near the body of the Pakistani miscreant.
The killed miscreant seems to be appx 45 – 50 years in age.
BSF spokesman from Jalandhar Punjab Frontier HQ, said, vigilant BSF troops, once again foiled the nefarious attempts of anti-national elements to enter into Indian territory.
