Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday reported to have recovered one kg contraband heroin from Ferozepore sector on Indo Pak border.
(MOREPIC1)(SUBHEAD) BSF spokesman said, on Thursday morning during carrying out area domination noticed footprints and suspicious marks ahead of border fence in the area falling near Village – Peer Ismail Khan, District – Ferozepur. Further, during thorough search of the area, troops recovered 01 packet of narcotics suspected to be Heroin (Gross wt 01 Kg) wrapped in yellow colour polythene from a potato field. Vigilant BSF troops, once again were able to foil nefarious design of smugglers to smuggle contrabands.
The contraband valuing worth Rs. five crores in international market.
