In a major breakthrough PO & Summon staff of Chandigarh Police under the directions of SSP, U.T., Chandigarh and SP City in the supervision of DySP DCC and team headed by Incharge PO & Summon staff is able to arrest the 04 proclaimed offenders.
Arrest of Accused/Proclaimed Offender: – With the help of collection of information from different sources (technical & human) and a day/night search. The following mentioned proclaimed offenders have been arrested with secret information of informer and all the sincere efforts made by HC Ashok Kumar 1179/CP, HC Sharnjit Singh 708/CP, Sr. C. Vipin Sharma 2345/CP, C. Anuj Kumar 4665/CP C. Harminder Singh 1641/CP and C. Manveer Singh 3803/CP.(SUBHEAD)
Two state case proclaimed offenders have been arrested in case FIR No. 301 dated 19.08.2017, U/s 380, 457, 411 IPC PS 34 Chandigarh. Accused namely Rohin S/o Ram Rattan (age-23 yrs) R/o # 2842, Sector 25 Chandigarh and accused namely Anil Kumar S/o Raj Karan (age-23 yrs) R/o # 2845, Sector 25 Chandigarh. The case was registered on the complaint of Joginder Singh S/o Sh. Ilam Singh.
He stated that he was doing job at SCO No. 32, Sector-33, Chandigarh. On the night of incident, at about 2 AM he slept after concluding his work. In the morning he notice that chest was broken and Rs. 45000/- has been stolen. Later the case was registered against accused. They were declared PO by the Hon’ble court of Ms. Komple Dhanjal, JMIC, Chandigarh. The accused were produced before the Hon’ble concerned court and sent to judicial custody
Another state case proclaimed offender namely Joginder S/o Sohanbir Singh R/o # 274 Village Daddu Majra Chandigarh and presently residing at # 5008 Block F, Aero City, Mohali, has been arrested in FIR No. 103 dated 05.05.2020, U/s 379, 411 IPC, PS-17, Chandigarh. The case was registered on the complaint of Sita Ram S/o Sh. Balwant Rai. He stated that his M/Cycle No. CH01AB-4268 make Hero Honda stolen from the parking of General Hospital, Sector-16, Chandigarh. Later the case was registered against accused and he was declared PO by the Hon’ble Court of Ms. Komple Dhanjal, JMIC, Chandigarh. The accused was produced before the Hon’ble Concerned court and sent to judicial custody.
One absconded person/PO namely Sanjeev Kumar R/o Street No. 2, Bathinda Road, Shri Mukatsar Sahib, Punjab has been arrested U/s 138 NI Act by a team from Kharar, Mohali. The accused was produced before the Hon’ble Court of Sh. Tarun Kumar, JMIC, Chandigarh.
