The Lohri festival was celebrated in a new way at a function organised by Balluana MLA Amandeep Singh Goldy Musafir.
SSP Bhupinder Singh Sidhu gave a message on the festival to promote health and progress and eradicate the roots of drugs. Lohri was lit by Musafir and Sidhu.
The MLA said that the government has fulfilled the promises made during the elections. A project is being run with 500 crore rupees to provide clean canal drinking water to the people. The compensation of Rs 25 crore that was due since 2020 will be distributed to the farmers soon.
SSP appealed to the people to contribute to the elimination of drug addiction and asked them to support the police in ending the supply of drugs.
