UT ADMINISTRATOR PARTICIPATED IN THE OFFICE WARMING CEREMONY OF THE CHANDIGARH SECRETARIAT

The office warming ceremony of the Chandigarh Secretariat, Sector-9D, Chandigarh was done today in the presence of Sh. Banwarilal Purohit, Hon’ble Governor of Punjab-cum-Administrator, Chandigarh and Sh. Dharam Pal, Adviser to the Administrator.

On this occasion, the Path of Shri Sukhmani Sahib is organized with Kirtan and followed by Guru Ka Langar.

This building i.e. Chandigarh Secretariat is a green, intelligent & smart building, which has been constructed to achieve minimum “Five Star Griha Rating” standard having plot area of 2.63 acre with total covered area 214816 sft. The said building has G+6 floors having provisions for parking of 78 cars & 76 Two Wheelers.(SUBHEAD)

With the commencement of new Chandigarh Secretariat Building, the various higher officers as well as attached staff including administrative departments of U.T. Chandigarh have started functioning in the new Secretariat Building under one roof.

Dr. Vijay N. Zade, Finance Secretary, Sh. Yashpal Garg, IAS, Secretary Health, Smt. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner MCC, Sh. Vinay Pratap, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, U.T., Sh. C. B. Ojha, Chief Engineer, U.T. and other senior officers and officials of Chandigarh Administration were also present.
