PARTICIPATION OF YOUTH OF PUNJAB IN SPORTS IS ENCOURAGING: DR. GARG, SSP MOHALI

International martial arts player Ekamveer Singh, who won a Gold Medal in the National Sikh Games 2022 held in New Delhi, was honored with a cash award of Rs 1 lakh. The award was given in the presence of Mohali SSP Dr. Sandeep Garg, IPS.

Sardar Sharanjit Singh, President, Budo Kai Do Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India, while handing over the prize money cheque to the winning player, said that he is very happy that the players of the federation have won medals not only in national but also in international level competitions. Congratulating the winner, he said that this will encourage other players as well.

SSP Mohali, Dr. Sandeep Garg said, “We are happy that the youth of Punjab are moving forward and the players of the state are bringing laurels to the state in the field of sports.”

Many sports lovers including RP Sharma (Coach), Yash Kamal Sharma (Cashier), Mukesh Kumar (National Media Incharge) and Monika Kamboj were present on the occasion.
