Border Security Force (BSF) troops deployed at border, heard buzzing sound of a suspected flying object (drone) entering from Pakistan into Indian territory in the area near Village – Kakkar in District-Amritsar on Friday Morning.
As per the laid down drill troops endeavored to intercept the drone by firing. The whole area was cordoned and Police & concerned sister agencies were informed.
(MOREPIC1) Further during search after the first light. BSF troops recovered 01 drone (Quadcopter) and a big packet of narcotics item suspected to be Heroin (Gross wt-5 Kgs) wrapped in a yellow adhesive tape from the farming fields near Vill – Kakkar Distt – Amritsar.
The contraband valued rs. 25 crores in international market.
BSF troops once again were able to foil the nefarious design of smugglers.
