Under the leadership of Anand Periwal, head of the Maheshwari Sangathan and Pushpa Sharda, chief of Maheshwari Mahila Sangathan, an impressive Shyam Dhwaja Yatra was organised here. Flowers and water were served outside Rani Jhansi market tothe participants who passed through Johari Mandir Road and Circular Road.

On the occasion Anand Periwal, Pradeep Periwal, Dinesh Rathi, Gopal Sharda, Ramesh Rathi, Dogar Periwal, Munna Periwal, Rajinder Somani, Shiv Shankar Somani, Dr. Prem Periwal, Surendra Mundra, Anil Daga, Rajesh Periwal, Hemant Rathi, Pushpa Sharda, Aruna Periwal, Mamta Periwal, Anju Kalani, Sudha Kalani, Nikita Periwal, Seema Rathi and Shulbha Bihani were among those present.

It is worth mentioning that water or thandai is served every year by Maheshwari Sangathan during the Shree Shyam Dhwaja Shobha Yatra organized on the occasion of Ram Navami.
