At a brief function held at the local railway station, rail travel passes were given to 29 Divyangjan.Social activist Vipan Sharma said that hundreds of travel passes have been given to the needy, 17 thousand certificates were prepared with the help of doctors of the civil hospital. The staff of the railway cooperated in making the passes. Dr. Saheb Ram of the civil hospital also rendered his services. The rail travel passes are now made at Ambala.

Earlier the Divyangjan had to face a lot of trouble, but it has been controlled by the government introducing online service. Vipan Sharma demanded that fees charged for X-rays in government hospitals should be waived off for the disabled people so that they too can take advantage of the facilities.

Chief guest Bar Association President Lakhwinder Singh Sidhu said that Vipan Sharma is really serving the disabled from the heart and the biggest thing is that all the work is done free of cost.

The travel passes have been made for life time and in this, 25 percent fare is charged for the person accompanying the disabled. Railway officer Raj Kumar and social worker Raghav Nagpal were also present.
