PUNJAB AT FIRST SIGHT: ANIMAL HUSBANDRY DEPT. TO GET 418 VETERINARY OFFICERS

In a bid to strengthen the livestock health services in the state, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led state government is soon going to appoint 418 veterinary officers (VO) in the Animal Husbandry Department.
Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development S. Laljit Singh Bhullar disclosed this, while addressing livestock farmers during the state level awareness camp organized by the animal husbandry department under the National Livestock Mission at village Sangwan, district Tarn Taran district. He said these VOs would soon be given appointment letters as their recruitment process is about to complete.

DHALIWAL CONGRATULATES PUNJABIS ON 'PUNJABI DIWAS’

Punjab Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Rural Development & Panchayats and NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal has ordered the officials to ensure that the entire work was to be done in Punjabi language.

Mr. Dhaliwal congratulated all Punjabis on 'Punjabi Diwas' (February 21) and said that the state government led by Bhagwant Mann has taken a big decision and announced to give top priority to Punjabi language on all boards across the state. He said that the state government has made it mandatory to write Punjabi language at the top of all government, private or other boards, after that any language can be written.

The cabinet minister directed the senior and district officials of the departments under his portfolio to give priority to Punjabi in writing the names of all the boards, notice boards and names of their offices, while other languages should be written after Punjabi.

PROCESS OF FILLING POSTS OF 1016 ANGANWADI WORKERS

The process of filling the posts of 1016 Anganwadi Workers (Main), 129 Mini Anganwadi Workers and 4569 Anganwadi Helpers has been started by the Social Security, Women and Child Development Department in order to provide employment under the policy of the state government led by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

Divulging in this regard, Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr Baljit Kaur, said that in order to run the Anganwadi Centers in the state of Punjab smoothly, advertisements for applications have been issued to fill the posts of Anganwadi Workers (Main), Mini Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Helper.

The Cabinet Minister said that detailed information and conditions regarding these posts are available on the website of the department www.sswcd.punjab.gov.in and the website of the concerned district. Apart from this, the office of the concerned District Program Officer or Child Development Project Officer can be contacted for further information.

NEWLY RECRUITED JES TO GET APPOINTMENT LETTERS ON FEB 21

For the uninterrupted supply of potable water and waste disposal in Punjab villages and to strengthen the department of Water Supply and Sanitation (WSS) at grass root level, Water Supply and Sanitation Minister Bram Shanker Jimpa has informed that 35 newly recruited junior engineers (JEs) would get appointment letters on Feburary 21. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will give appointment letters to these newly appointed JEs.

He further said that the Punjab Government under the dynamic leadership of CM Bhagwant Mann is committed to provide all kinds of facilities to the state villages. To fulfill this commitment, many projects are under progress. He said that with this recruitment the completion of projects would be on time and it will also be easier to provide better facilities to the citizens. Jimpa said that in September 2022, junior draftsmen were also recruited in the department.

MEET HAYER HANDS OVER APPOINTMENT LETTERS TO 15 JES & 14 CLERKS OF PWRMDC

Punjab Water Resources Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer on Monday handed over appointment letters to newly selected 15 JEs and 14 clerks in Punjab Water Resources Management and Development Corporation (PWRMDC) at Punjab Bhavan, Chandigarh.

Congratulating the newly appointed employees, the Water Resources Minister said that the State Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is giving employment to the youth on priority basis.
The State Government has given appointment letters to 27000 youths in a span of just 11 months. Even in the coming time, the government will create employment opportunities for the youth by establishing new projects by creating an investment-friendly environment in the state, said the Minister.

Meet Hayer also said that the Punjab Government, lending a helping hand to the corporation neglected for a long time, has made new recruitments besides giving promotions. Apart from this, Rs. 220 crore worth projects of tube wells and hollows are being started across the state.
