GOVT FISH FARM WORK AT KILLIANWALI AT FINAL STAGE: BHULLAR

Punjab Animal Husbandry, Fisheries & Dairy Development Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, while taking stock of the ongoing work of Government Fish Seed Farm, which is being constructed at a cost of Rs.10 crore at village Killianwali, said that the construction work is in final stage and it would be completed soon so that fish farmers could derive maximum benefit. The cabinet minister directed the officials to keep constant vigil for ensuring the quality of construction work.

Bhullar said that the fish seed farm will prove boon in promoting aquaculture in the state and farmers will get quality fish seed along with technical information. The border districts of the state have immense potential for adopting aquaculture and increasing the income of the farmers through these Agro-auxiliary occupations.

The minister said that Rs.2.91 crore would soon be released for the construction of the main bus stand of Abohar city. CM Bhagwant Mann-led govt will not allow any obstacle in completing development works due to any shortage of funds.
