“G-20 Youth Fortnight” was successfully organized at Gopichand Arya Mahila College under the banner of DPI Punjab and Punjab University.
Convenors Vanita Makkar and Rita said that the theme of this program was Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (One Earth, One Family, One Future). The main objective of the program was to provide knowledge to the students about G-20 and its importance in the global economy. Poster making, online national level essay writing competition, quiz competition, declamation competition and Rangoli competition were included under this programme. About 120 girl students participated enthusiastically.
Topper in different competitions were Pallavi in poster making, Tamanna in essay writing, Diksha and Tamanna in quiz, Jasleen in declamation, Arshdeep and Vanita in Rangoli. E-certificates were provided to all the winning students by Principal Dr Rekha Sood Handa.
