GOOD GESTURE: BSF HANDS OVER ONE PAKISTAN NATIONAL TO PAK RANGERS IN FEROZEPORE SECTOR

Border Security Force (BSF) troops on Friday handed over over one Pakistan National to Rangers in Ferozepore Sector on humanitarian grounds .

(MOREPIC1) BSF troops had had apprehended Pakistan national ahead of border fence, while he crossed the International Border and entered into Indian territory, in the area falling near village – Dona Tenu Mal under Ferozepur district.

During questioning, it came to notice that the apprehended Pak national had crossed over to Indian territory inadvertently. Nothing objectionable except personal belongings, Identity card and Pak Currency amounting to Rs. 10/- were recovered from him.

BSF spokesman in Jalandhar at Punjab Frontier Headquarter said, BSF approached Pakistan Rangers and lodged protest on the matter. Thereafter, on Friday at about 1627 hrs, apprehended Pakistan national, being an inadvertent border crosser, was handed-over to Pakistan Rangers on humanitarian grounds. BSF always takes humane approach, while dealing with inadvertent border crossers, added spokesman.
